So Christy and I finally talked yesterday. Yay! She's sending out the invites today (or maybe sent 'em yesterday). The party will be at her place on May 9 around 7PM-- one month and a day away. Hopefully the fact that it's on a Friday right after work/rush hour won't put too many people off, but since she and I are both heading off to St Lucia that weekend we'll need Saturday to recover!
I told her I want something simple, mellow, nothing crazy. No need for decorations or party favors or anything. Might BBQ but will mostly just have drinks & munchies. I'm guessing around 9 or 10 the party poopers can bow out and those of us still standing can hit up the bars within walking distance of C's pad.
I do want some cheesy party games, and have enlisted Mom's help in planning those (if she emails me back, anyway). Christy told me that's the one area she isn't so knowledgeable in. So if anyone has advice for bach'ette games, please share!
And presents! Princess wants lots of fun things for her honeymoon! Call me selfish but this is my only chance to get girlie gifts and I am sure my wonderful friends & family will not disappoint me!

Bachelorette Party
Christy emailed me a couple of days ago saying my bach'ette party invites were going out this week. Yay! I'm supposed to call her tonight to discuss. I'm super excited. Yaaaay, a party for meeee!
Although I feel bad for Jess. Turns out his bachelor party planners have kinda dropped on the ball on the whole thing, so now he may not have one-- at least not BEFORE we get married. It's not because they're bad friends, everyone is just really busy or lives out of town or whatnot. But it sucks too, b/c Jess is totally the type of person who would gladly handle bachelor party planning for any of his friends. Hopefully he'll get to do something fun before we head to St Lucia.
Yay, yet one more reason why I can't wait to come home!!!
