It's been awhile since I've updated the wedding planning! So Christy messaged me & wants to have my bach'ette on Friday, May 9. We were debating between that Friday & Saturday but then realized we'd both be jetting off to St Lucia on Sunday; hence, Friday wins. Sorry to everyone who will have to endure weekend rush hour traffic! I feel bad; I know she's so busy and want to help however I can, but it's tough when I'm so far away. But Christy is amazing, I have no doubt she will pull off a helluva party for yours truly :)
The boys have been humming about Jess' bachelor party. Unlike me, he has an entire planning committee. Who knows what those crazy boys will get up to. I know many girls get all upset about their hubbies-to-be being exposed to *gasp* strippers and the like, but I am totally fine. I know Jess, and know that isn't his thing. He'll gladly go along with whatever, but I have complete faith that he will behave himself (well, "behave" as much as one can during his bachelor party!).
While in A'dam this weekend, I suggested to Brad that they should have the bachelor party there. F-- that, we should have MY party there!!!
Jess told me my dress came in the other day. Good thing we paid extra for expedited shipping. I'll have almost 2 weeks to pick up the dress, get it altered, and figure out how to transport it safely to St Lucia. Yikes!
